Whoooooah. Simply stunning. And that's a great idea, using parts from an old mask. I might just steal some ideas from you ;)

One of the best hats I've ever seen, I'd say! I'm trying to look for an idea for a SP hat, I might have to steal from your design!

Feel free. That's how we get the best ideas, is to take bits from here and there and ideas from here and there, too. It always ends up being our own great creation, right? Have fun and ping me when you get pix up!

there's a slight bronze tint in the photo but it's black and bronzy gold. it's sweet of you to admire it.

i gave it to grillghod's darling teeny bride!

it was a leather and parchment mask i got at a renn-faire years ago. it was mostly dead so i re-purposed it!

it looks adorable, on.

i'll say, it looks beautiful, are those the original colors? if so it looks amazing, I could see it painted a blue or green color to really draw attention to the hat.

Marvelous. :D How'd you do the tarnish in the face and brim? Is it bronze paint, or is the felt sanded off?

Fav'd. :)

:) Thanks. I'm not an expert, though. Costumer-in-training. XD

(BTW, you should consider bringing things like this beauty to SteamCon. They'd sell like hotcakes!)
